Every
day the store itself will send the headquarter
all the movements done related to:
- Sold articles
- Goods upload from suppliers orders
- Cash movements register
- Goods transfers towards other stores
- Replenishment requests
The picture represents the standard structure
of Negoziando.
The barcode reader is connected to the
cash register; whenever it scans a code,
the request to the PC/Server begins and
the letter sends back the data about this
article.
In this moment the warehouse is automatically
updated.
In the picture is shown another PC (optional)
which could be used by the warehouse in
order to transmit to the headquarter and
then to the other stores the new available
stocks or by the management in order to
issue book-keeping documents. In a smaller
structure this function can be carried
out by the PC/Server directly connected
to the cash register, but in a more complex
one it is better having a PC for each
function.
At the end of the day, during the usual
transmission, files are updated in the
headquarter, which updates the stocks
of all the warehouses connected.
