History of Query from 1990 to 1999, from the first vertical solutions up to the integration with Sme.up

1999
The new  millenium is approaching and QUERY, as well as any other Software Companies, is going to play a crucial role.

Over one hundred old versions of  programs will be replace by the new "STAR Y2K ready". The Millenium Bug will not affect the customers, thanks also to the strong solidity of the AS/400 platform, which was updated by IBM long time ago. 
QUERY is ready for the  "New Economy", increases its capital stock and becomes a Share Company. The structure is growing up. It is possible to install the first ERP Sme.up system and to improve the first implementation with STAR. The cooperation with SMEA develops into a strong and mutually profitable partnership.

1998
The italian market has deeply changed over this period. To face the challenge, Query signs a commercial agreement and a partnership  with SMEA s.r.l. in  Brescia, in order to create  and  distribute Sme.up, a high-technological object-oriented software, able to solve any problems related to data processing in a ERP-class context.

1997
Softia S.r.l., a new Company belonging to the Group is established from the IT and Networking Division of  Query. The new Company will deal with the Information Technology market, concerning planning, creation and consolidation of the local and global net as well as the supply of  hardware, connectivity products, net software, etc. It is also the year of  STAR, the new application format. Among its main features we can mention: the multilanguage management, the accounting in Euro and the assistance for the year 2000.

1996
The QUAS-Lab is plannning the new software mangement, suitable to face the Millenium Bug problem, as well as the Euro management and any other problem related to the year 2000. As a result of the joint-venture with DELTA SYSTEM, based in Conegliano Veneto, a new Company is established, DELTA SYSTEM. The Company specializes in graphic solutions and softwares for  the furniture market, aimed at following the Lombardy area, most particulary, the "Brianza".

1995
QUERY improves QUAS4 net. New consulting and advising activities start in this period with the aim of selling products  belonging to IT and local Net .

1994
A technical and commercial agreement is signed with the Company ASI in Padua. This way ASI can sell  and  install all Query's programs in the region of Triveneto. The "QUAS-LAB" is created in the meantime. It's a common laboratory between QUERY and ASI, whose task is to support and coordinate the technicians and to actively improve the product.

1993
We acquire the application packages and the Know-how of the Software Company SECO S.r.l  in MONZA.  The Customers Portfolio has increased and diversified. The most qualified staff belonging to SECO is acquired by Query, creating a basis for the future development.

1990
The diversification of the Customer's demand pushes QUERY to find out a verticalization of its application programs, in order to create and be able to offer a wide range of solutions.
