History of Query , from 1986 to 1989 , from the beginning up to the first AS/400 application

1989

QUERY  brings  its application program to its native environment AS/400, plans it again, and presents it with a new name: QUAS 4. The reaction of the market is positive, both towards the potential of the new software and the great innovation of the hardware.

1988

IBM announces the new system AS/400, provided with a structure and a database. This is presented as the future machine for the next ten years, wich will replace the 36 and 38 systems, with the same compatibility as before. QUERY starts approaching the new system and acquires competence, getting more and more acquanted with the S/38 system.

1987

QUERY plans and creates its own managment application, intended for commercial and manufacturing companies  (QUIMP) and based on platform S/36 .

1986

QUERY S.r.l. was established as a result of the union of IT experts and business advisors: the aim of this union is to offer technological and professional solutions in order to meet the needs of companies dealing with IBM series 3X calculators. In the same year QUERY obtains from  IBM the agency for Midrange systems.
